Join Angie and Kaytee on an unforgettable journey to the land of fire and ice. Iceland is home to some of the most striking landscapes and together we will explore them all! With us, you’ll visit black sand beaches, glittering glaciers, fiery volcanoes, gushing geysers, hot springs, waterfalls, and more!
During your week in Iceland, you’ll stay at a beautiful family farmhouse, surrounded by unobstructed views of the Golden Circle. Our home away from home is equipped with everything you need to stay warm and cozy, including a large hot tub!
Each morning will begin with a warming Yoga practice and meditation, followed by a nutritious breakfast. During the day, we will explore the incredible sights South Iceland has to offer. After a full day of adventure, we will return to our home away from home for dinner, restorative yoga, meditation, and a soak in the hot tub. You’ll also have the opportunity to receive a luxurious massage from our onsite massage therapist, our treat!

Your Home Away From Home
Your home base on this epic retreat to Iceland is located in South West Iceland near Selfoss and The Golden Circle. Our house is a magnificent old converted school house. We are perfectly placed; with proximity to many of the main natural attractions. Grocery stores and amenities are just a 10 min drive away.
Our house is situated on a rural piece of property with unobstructed views of the countryside. It has eight bedrooms, a large kitchen for gatherings, two living areas to spread out and relax in, a garden atrium with outdoor seating and a pizza oven, hammock, fire pit, charcoal grill, and a large hot tub to relax in. We are equipped with essentials such as towels, bedsheets, soap, toilet paper, and an iron. The house also has a washer and dryer, heat, wifi, and fully outfitted kitchen with all of the necessary appliances and cutlery.

Your Retreat Leaders
Angelena Sweet (she/ her)
Angelena is an Austin-based yoga teacher and teacher trainer. She has over 5,000 teaching hours, 500+ hours of yoga education and specializes in Adaptive Yoga. Yoga has been a constant in Angelena's life and has offered her the resources to work through life's challenging moments. In 2012, Angelena did her first teacher training in power yoga and vinyasa. Then in 2015, while pursuing her 300 hour training, she discovered the wonderful offerings of the gentler practices of yin, restorative, chair yoga, prenatal, and postnatal.
Today, Angelena adapts the varied practices she has learned to service her students' specific needs. She offers tools and yogic practices to hold space for yourself, listen to the needs of your body, and stay present.
Kaytee Hernandez (she/ her)
Kaytee Hernandez (she/her) is a Latinx Yoga Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Childrens Yoga Teacher with a passion for holistic health and wellbeing. Yoga has been a transformative and healing journey for Kaytee. The tools she has learned have helped her digest trauma, grief, and loss, and fall in love with life again.
She hopes to guide others toward their inner healer through Yoga and Ayurveda. She holds her E-RYT 500, RCYT, and YACEP with Yoga Alliance and is a Certified Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT, serving children and adults. Kaytee is currently attending Maharishi International University and is working towards her M.S. in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.
Kaytee offers public and private Yoga classes, Yoga therapy, workshops, lectures, and training in Austin, Texas and online. She loves to travel and hosts international Yoga and wellness retreats, most recently to Nice, France. Kaytee is down to earth, non- judgemental, and approachable. Her ultimate aim is to empower clients to become their own healer through education, support, and passing along the many tools in her toolbox.
