There’s a moment when you realize your body has been whispering to you all along—asking for presence, for a deep breath, for the chance to feel safe again.
I’m Kaytee Hernandez (she/her), a Latinx Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP), and Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500, RCYT, YACEP) with a deep passion for holistic health and natural healing. And like many of the people I work with, my path into this work began through my own healing.
For years, I lived inside a body carrying stories it never had the space to finish—anxiety, depression, grief, and deeply ingrained nervous system patterns that kept me in a state of pushing, striving, and disconnect. The ancient sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda illuminated a different way forward—one where healing isn’t forceful, but a gentle remembering. A way of working with nature rather than against it. These practices helped me understand my own design—and they now guide the way I support others.
I teach public yoga classes at My Vinyasa Practice and Austin Bouldering Project, blending movement, breathwork, meditation, and sound to help you reconnect with your own inner healer. Beyond my public classes, I offer Yoga Therapy, Ayurvedic Assessments, and lead international retreats through my business, Kinship Yoga Retreats.
Having personally experienced profound transformation through Yoga and Ayurveda, I’m deeply committed to sharing these practices in ways that feel accessible, empowering, and sustainable.
Whether you’re navigating chronic imbalance, stress, digestive or hormonal challenges, emotional overwhelm, or simply seeking more vitality, clarity, and steadiness—I’m here to walk alongside you. To share tools with lineage and heart. To help you reconnect with the part of yourself that’s always been there, waiting.
You don’t need to become someone new.
You just need to come home to yourself.
And it’s closer than you think.
